[gst-devel] gstreamer plugin details

Gstreamer Team:

I put together the attached spreadsheet which tries to describe what
all the gstreamer plugins do.  I have culled all this information from
running gst-inspect, looking at the source code, and the various README
files in the gst-plugin module.  This might be generally useful to
put on the gstreamer website, after making corrections, etc.

I've bolded information that seems incorrect, incomplete.  There is
also an "Errors" column where I've highlighted plugins which seem to
have issues (i.e. some LGPL code in an otherwise GPL module).  It
would obviously be nice if the code might be cleaned up where I have
identified issues.

I would appreciate it if anyone could help me complete the list, or
provide me with any information that is missing or incorrect.  Please
send me such updates off-list.  I'll keep the spreadsheet updated and
send an updated version to the list.
