OK, i tried it.  The result is that divxenv & xvidenc playback
fine with mplayer.  However, the ffmpeg mpeg4 encoders don't
playback.  There is probably an avi header missing or something.

Anyway, this suggests to me that avimux is fine.  The only
missing piece is to update xvid/divx to supply appropriate
caps to avimux and the whole thing should work.

Making xvid caps work seems like such a small project that
i can try to do it myself.  Is anyone working on this or
shall i give it a try?
