Audioconvert should be fairly simple since there's one function that does 
channel conversion in a predefined format.
The only thing I'd need for that (apart from a 5:1 setup, but I guess noone 
volunteers to buy me one ;)) was reference code on how to convert the channels 
nicely from one representation to another.
