For Windows, all drivers use directshow in the end, no? So in order to
support webcams under Windows, you'll need to write a directshow
wrapper. anyway, we've had quite a few win32 people interested already,
but there is no directshow wrapper for GStreamer yet, so native video
output, webcams, tv cards, audiocards etc. don't work yet.
