[gst-devel] playbin testing

Hi,

A quick note on how to test the new playbin. The easiest way is to use
the seek example in gst-plugins/examples/seeking/seek.c. Run it with

./seek 11 file:///...

Note that it currently only accepts URIs and it uses the URI
infrastructure to locate a plugin that can handle this uri. Seeking in
mpeg, avi, ogg (audio only), mp3 and some other formats should work
fine, ogg/theora does not work very well. Other stuff like ogg+flac and
ogg files with DirectShow codecs don't seem to work very well. asf and
mov are mostly broken.
