Because Gtk/Glib do it that way as well, and it's closer to K&R, which
is what we like as a coding style. I personally prefer struct
declaration braces to be on the same line as their struct name as well.

Then again, I know it breaks patches and don't care much, so I wouldn't
mind delaying this sort of stuff until 0.9.x or whenever it suits us.
