I was pretty sure that there was a 0.7 version available in Gentoo as
well.  Anyway, I think they'll have 0.8 pretty quickly.

Maybe we should do a monkeysaudio release too soon though.

No idea why it aborts.  can you file a bug, run with --gst-debug=*.5,
pipe the output to a log file, and attach that to the bug report
(preferably gzipped) ?
