It's a topic I wanted to bring up.

Basically, here's how the situation is right now:

a) gstreamer.net is still in limbo, I haven't put time in this, and I
think David was doing this at some point.  Latest news from Erik on this
subject is that it should be easy to ask the people that took over
ridgerun to activate the admin address and get back the domain rights. 
David, do you feel like taking this up again until completion ?

b) gstreamer.org is still owned by Erik, it was decided by sort of
consensus to not move the whole site to his co-lo, where he is still
graciously offering us hosting.  He was willing to transfer the
domain/point the dns entry somewhere else.  I have asked once in the
past but it hasn't happened yet and I didn't press on further either.

c) gstreamer.freedesktop.org is ours if we want it.

Currently;

a) gstreamer.net redirects to fdo
b) gstreamer.org has nothing, but could have stuff if we want to
c) gstreamer.freedesktop.org seems to work fine.

I guess someone just needs to do the work of getting gstreamer.net
transfered.  Beyond that, we still don't have some sort of entity we can
assign the entries/administrivia to, so this could happen again in the
future.  I don't have a clearcut solution, and I'm not really pressed
for one either.

The only thing I currently care about is keeping the site on fdo since I
like the new website setup for ease of updating.
