[gst-devel] DirectShow conversion to Gstreamer

Has anyone converted a Windoze app using DirectShow to Gstreamer on Linux? If so, I'd appreciate any tips and best practices, especially setting up graph filters. Anyone know if Gstreamer has been attempted on Windoze?

Also, I'm using Mandrake which uses URPMI to install stuff rather than yum or apt (which I've never used these before). Is there some instructions around that I could use to manually download the necessary PRMs?
