[gst-devel] various questions about GStreamer elements

Hi All,
In continuation with previous set of questions,

This question is regarding scheduling in GStreamer.
I know it is possbile to connect 
a get based source element to a loop based downstream peer. but
Is it possbile to connect a get based source element to a chain based
downstream peer? If so, then who does the conversion?
