[gst-devel] about videomixer plugin

hi list,
first a little explaination:
1) i wrote a plugin grabbing a screenshot from an x display, at variable
rate
2) a simple pipe like this screencap->conv->xvimagesink
works well....a get
3) a more complex pipe like this doesn't work properly

screencap->conv---+
                  |
                  +--
                     videomixe->conv->xvimagesink
                  +--
                  |
videotestsrc->conv

linking the screencap to videomixe before than videotestsrc, i got a 
backgroud with the screenshot of the display.
but this backgroud will never be updated.

i can't understand why....any ideas?
