[gst-devel] video/x-raw-rgba??

Hi,

  I have a raw video stream in RGB that also has an alpha channel which I
would like to encode to mpeg-4. My idea was to use ffenc_mpeg4 to do the
encoding. But my question is does gstreamer even support a datatype of
video/x-raw-rgba? Looking at the list of capabilities it would appear that
it doesn't, but looking through the mailing list archives I found a
reference to something called an alpha_mask which I haven't been able to
find further documentation on. This makes me think that I can provide alpha
values separately. 

  Am I barking up the wrong tree?
