[gst-devel] Failed to compile gst-player

Sorry, I met a problem when compiling
gst-player-0.8.0, configure said: 
 configure: error: you need gstreamer development
packages installed !

I already installed gstreamer-0.9.3,
gstreamer-plugins-base-0.9.3,
gstreamer-plugins-good-0.9.3,
gstreamer-plugins-ugly-0.9.3.

do i need to install "gstreamer development packages"?

I didn't find any similar messages in this mailing
list.
