[gst-devel] GStreamer FFMpeg 0.8.6.3 prerelease

All,

0.8.6.3 is out at the usual location for your testing pleasure. This
release fixes the nasty G3/altivec detection bug that has been in there
for a long time (thanks to Benjamin and Koop for both their help in
solving this issue), and fixes a disting issue.

It is known to successfully compile and run on x86, ppc (both g3 and g4)
and known to do at least something on Linux and BSD. Some wider test
data, e.g. from OS X and amd64/sparcs, would be nice. I'm planning to
release halfway this week, so be quick.
