[gst-devel] Getting Started

Hi All,

         After I create an element by the make_element tool it generates two files. I used the following commands for this

shell $ cd gst-template/gst-plugin/src

shell $ ../tools/make_element ExampleFilter

Now how can I make use of this filter element(ExampleFilter) to run my application so that when I use

gst_element_factory_make("ExampleFilter","my_filter"); in my application it should not give any error.

Do I need to register the element or something, if so how can I do it.

Please let me know the steps I need to run the test-application after the element is created.
