Hi Ian,
Yes, this is perfectly ok. It is in fact exactly what Nokia is doing on
their 770 for instance. They have LGPL GStreamer core and some LGPL
plugins, and this combination is used with their proprietary media
player and with some properietary DSP using plugins.
