[gst-devel] More on my lockup problem

This is more of what I showed to tim at GUADEC and he couldn't see
what the problem was. I've made a test case with just basic GST
elements and the channel splitter.

Just build the test-splitter in the tarball and run it on an mp3

./test-spliter file.mp3
it prints out the progress every second, and after a while the handoff
signal stops getting called and the progress stops updating.

Hopefully we can work this out
