[gst-devel] Problem loading gnome panel mixer applet with latest gstreamer releases

Greetings,

Thanks to all for the kickass gstreamer tools.

I've got the repos from gst.fdo.org in my yum config on FC5 and the
last two updates of gstreamer (0.10.{6.2,7}) have both left me with an
error upon loading the gnome panel mixer applet:

    The panel encountered a problem while loading
    "OAFIID:GNOME_MixerApplet".

And in the xsession log:

    ** (gnome-panel:29463): WARNING **: trying to re-connect connected cnx.

    ** (gnome-panel:29463): WARNING **: panel-applet-frame.c:1304: failed to load applet OAFIID:GNOME_MixerApplet (can't get property bag):
    Error checking error; no exception

Backing down to the 0.10.6-0.gst.1.5 packages things work fine.  The
system is totally up to date with all other updates.

Can anyone here that's wise in the ways of the code help point me to
how best to resolve this or do further debugging on it?
