[gst-devel] why "jpegenc" can't encode output of "jpegdec"?

when I run:
  $gst-launch filesrc location=test.jpg ! jpegdec !  jpegenc ! filesink location=temp.jpg
   
  segment fault occurs. Why?
   
  but I run:
  $gst-launch filesrc location=test.jpg ! jpegdec !  filesink location=temp.tmp
   
  it works well. How to chect whether temp.tmp is correct?
