[gst-devel] what happend to the x264 plugin

Hello List!

I wonder what happend to the x264 encoder plugin? 

Googling for gstreamer x264 one can find some mandrake rpms (0.8.x) and something on freshports.org but there is no reference on the gstreamer homepage. There's a deleted directory in cvs (/gst-plugins/ext/x264).

Are there plans to re-include this plugin?
