[gst-devel] Store video stream into several files

Hi,

I am a gstream newbie and I have the following task:

I should take video stream from v4l device, encode them
and store as sequence of avi files. Each file contains 5 minutes.
Which is the right approach to divide stream in such way?
Should I create my own filesink element or may be I can reorganize
pipeline every 5 minutes?

It is supposed that these avi files will be glued to produce solid 
seamless stream.
