[gst-devel] C code for audio and video converter (or player) using decodebin?

Hi,

I have scoured the gstreamer user/programmer documentation 
(http://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/data/doc/gstreamer/head/manual/html/index.html), 
as well as tried to look through google and asked on the #gstreamer IRC 
channel, for C code that implements conversion from one video format to 
another (or output to an audio and video sink). I have not gotten help on it, 
and the gstreamer programming documentation is skeletal and impossible to use 
without examples or a framework. I was wondering if anyone had C code that 
implements audio-visual conversion, say from avi to mpeg, using decodebin? I 
could then work off that. I would be extremely grateful. Thank you very much.
