Thanks (and to Joni as well)!!  I got a bit further. :)

I think that I'm trying to first create a very simple custom gst-plugin with basic V4L2 output functionalities and then later on (as my understanding about gstreamer hopefully enhances :P) to migrate it with current v4l2(src) code...
