And a very good morning to you too, Sir!  Let's not blame the messenger,
shall we?

My understanding was that we [0] need to do new core/base releases soon
anyway, since the current ones have some serious regressions [1] [2].

Besides, it's easy to copy the GstVideoFormat stuff back into
glimagesink if we really want to release plugins first, but somehow I
don't really see that happening with holidays coming up and all, so the
natural thing to do if we want to release *everything* before the new
gnome release cycle seems to do core/base again in the new year,
followed by plugins (IMHO). We haven't done plugin releases for so long
that another month is hardly going to matter now.

Anyway, maybe you should just announce in what order you think the next
releases should be done, so everyone can plan and commit accordingly.
