[gst-devel] binary asking for GTK

hi,
   I downloaded the binary of gstreamer from the site

http://perso.orange.es/moutte983/gstreamer but when i 

try to install the setup it asks for GTK runtime 

environment can you explain me why.....I think it 

because of GLIB....??????? correct me if iam 

wrong....Instaed of using the entire GTK can we use 

only the glib......
