[gst-devel] G729 encoder/decoder

Hi,

I have G729 encoder/decoder code i would like to submit for integration
into gstreamer __But__ i have some questions regarding dependencies and
licences :

- the encoder/decoder uses api of modified ITU-T code found there:
http://nshmyrev.narod.ru/g729/g729.html
So it's modified ITU code to be more thread friendly and used for
openH323 project. There is no library package for this code.

- the usage of G729 is under patents/royalties (http://www.sipro.com/)

Questions :
- Is it interesting to submit the encoder/decoder code (without the
external library containing ITU encoder/decoder)?
- Can i do that without tainting gstreamer with licensing problems ?
