A similar (?) state of things goes for

Bug 415754 ? (subtitle supporting) muxer class
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=415754,
which requires some changes in (the margins of) core (base elements) before
other elements (and other patches) can make use of it.
