[gst-devel] Where can I find the x264enc element?

I've been messing around with gst-launch and trying to install as many
packages as I can from the Synaptic Package Manager, but I must be having a
case of the stupid here...

Every time I try to launch thusly:

gst-launch x264enc

I get an error that says:

ERROR: pipeline could not be constructed: no element "x264enc".



Does anyone have any hints for me?
