[gst-devel] Crash

What is the best way to get the latest releases. My ubuntu source repository only goes up to 10.18 for the core/base and 0.7 for bad/good/ugly plugins. I tried downloading latest source and compiling from that, but it took a while to get each individual plugin working because I lacked a lot of packages. Is that the only way?

Just a tip for you is to drop by on freenode irc channel #gstreamer . It may be a better place to ask small questions like this. And the file works perfectly here using the latest file releases. You are in a cave or something. :DGreets Jens

Can you guys try downloading this file and playing it thru gst-launch via playbin? I get a crash on Ubuntu 8.04, but I am not sure where it is coming from. http://www.lansing--realestate.com/video/AiptekHDsample.MOV
