[gst-devel] Aliasing with Videoscale

Hi Guys,

I am using the videoscale plugin in gstreamer to downsample an SD video (
720x480) with a par of 8:9 to CIF resolution ( 352x288).

The problem i am getting is that the sharp edges in the original video get
reproduced in the downscaled video with a step like distortion.

I have tried using the bilinear and 4-tap methods in videoscale but still
there is a lot of distortion in the output video.

Can anyone suggest anything to correct this?
