[gst-devel] Some questions about gstreamer

Hi,

  There still isn't HDV capture support in GStreamer, but I wrote a
patch for such an element which is here
(http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=350830 ).

  Provided you then have a mpeg-ts demuxer (flutsdemux) and mpeg2 video
decoder (either mpeg2dec or ffmpeg_mpeg2video), you can then do:

   gst-launch-0.10 hdv1394src ! decodebin ! queue ! xvimagesink
