[gst-devel] Media Player on PC

Hi

I would like to develop a media player on Windows/Linux PC. It should be some thing like the windows media player or better. I would like to use Gstreamer as the back bone.

Can some one guide me on how I should start doing this? What media player app code I can re-use? How much time I should probably invest? Any licensing issues etc.

Any suggestions are greatly welcome.
