[gst-devel] Building for Windows

I'm currently developing on a Linux platform, but will also need to 
support a windows build of my application.  The Windows Support section 
of the manual states that the make file is intended to be used with "the 
Microsoft compiler (http://msdn.microsoft.com/visualc/vctoolkit2003/)".  
However, I followed that link to a dead end.

I currently own MSVC 6, but am looking to upgrade.

Anyone have any experience using MSVC 2005 or MSVC 2008 (either 
commercial or express edition) to build gstreamer applications?
