[gst-devel] How about gstreamer performance compared with DirectShow?

I mean when then do the same thing. Such as grab video frames from a v4l device encoded with mpeg4,
and then send it through rtp. On another machine, these frames are received and displayed with xvimagesink.
 
Have any body done a test like this? I would like to do that, however I just have one computer.
