[gst-devel] Gstreamer pipeline performance measurement

Hello All,

I need some information as to how the performance could be measured for a
given pipeline - what are the contributing factors? .  Following are some of
the vague vectors that comes to my mind, however, not really sure that these
are the ones.
Is it number of elements in a pipeline?  Type of element?  Type of
media/codec processing?  Are there any tools available which could be used
for estimation? etc.  Any help/inputs/pointers would be appreciated.
