Hello Hans

You can have a look at Advene ( http://www.advene.org/ ) : with it, you
can define annotations of any type. Just define SVG annotations (a
mini-SVG editor is available) and ask to display it over the video
(through a rule-based view definition).

On linux, it depends on gstreamer and you need to compile the
gstgdkpixbufoverlay element to get SVG support, see
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=499234 /
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=550443 .

Note that the current (0.38) does not work correctly with gstreamer >=
0.10.22 (snapshot issue). It is fixed in the svn version, but I have to
fix win32 issues before making a new release.

Regards,
Olivier
