[gst-devel] Complexity of dynamic pipelines

Can somebody tell (C code) how to add pads dynamically for an element? 
For example, if I want to receive a video stream dynamically for 
videomixer element, how can I do that?
I've read articles related to dynamic pads, but since I'm a newbie to 
GStreamer, felt very hard to grasp. Please help.
