That's really lame. If you have SSH login credentials for any system
that can reach the IRC server you want to use, you can tunnel out with
relative ease:

ssh -D 127.0.0.1:12345 username at host

Then configure your IRC client to use the SOCKS proxy on whatever port
you chose (12345 in my example.)
