See gst_element_seek() in the docs. 

Please tell us how we can improve the docs. Where did you look for
information? did you find the manual? Did you find the API docs? Was it
too hard to find? Did it not cover the information you wanted? What did
you expect to find? Please let us know so we can improve things!
