[gst-devel] mpegdemux, mad, mpeg2dec, ... missing after installing PPA packages

Is it enough to just rm the files in /usr/local (I guess the answer is 
no...) or is there a "clean" way to remove it?

Ok. I did it because I supposed that it would overwrite some hidden 
configuration info about search paths for plugins.
