 Hi Murali,

firstly, you don't need a license for Ubuntu 9.10 (not that I know of anyway
:-) )
Secondly, you should upgrade to Ubuntu 10.04, since it's the latest stable
version of Ubuntu (and so of gstreamer plugins) out there.

Lastly, yes, most plugins that you install alongwith the base gstreamer
package are open source.
