Hi Reethu,

Can you set GST_DEBUG_LEVEL to 4 to check out which element fails
when changed from GST_STATE_NULL to GST_STATE_READY?
Maybe when you open device like v4l2 device or sound device
it will need root to do so.

Hi All,

I have a camera API implementation, which uses gstreamer's camerabin.
When the widget accessing the camera APIs and inturn the camerabin, is run 
as user, there is a failure when the camerabin's state is changed from 
GST_STATE_NULL to GST_STATE_READY.
But the same works fine when the widget is run as root.

But the widget has to be run as user. What could be done to resolve this? 
Could anyone please help out?
