[gst-devel] alsasink and volume issue

Does your alsasink is configured to use PulseAudio?
If so, you may check inside pulseaudio console to see if the stream's volume is changed when the issue happens

Start pulse audio console #>pacmd
Check stream status #>list-sink-inputs

Hi, 

When using alsasink to playback music, I am having a strange problem. The
music went on for around 10 minutes, then all of sudden, the volume went
really low, if I put my ear really close to the speaker, I could hear it
going on normally, just the volume was extremely low, then after some other
10 minutes, the volume came back normal to loud all of sudden by itself.
The volume-high-low cycle repeats. 

The mp3 clip itself can be played by other players well and long enough.

Any ideas please?
