[gst-devel] statically linking gstreamer

Hi,

I am looking for the answer to the same question. I am using only some
plugins here and there, it is really not worthwhile to install all plugins.
Also it is very time consuming to upgrade gstreamer or plugins, because I
need to install the latest gstreamer and plugin packages on every machine. 

Can anyone help on this, if there is any possibility to do that?
