It is, point your browser to:

http://www.gstreamer.net/data/doc/gstreamer/head/gst-plugins-base-plugins/html/gst-plugins-base-plugins-playbin.html

and scroll until the first note in a green box. You'll read:

"This element is deprecated and no longer supported. You should use
the playbin2 element instead."

Google is your friend ;).
