GStreamer abort when trying to alsasink or Videoscale

Hi All,
I have written an application in which i try to create an "alsasink"
element.
But at times it aborts, with the following stack.... (*At times it works
just fine*)

*Also when i try to create a videoscale element, it gives an error. But when
i use it with gst-launch from command line the videoscale works fine.*
