Gstreamer and VDPAU usage for GP-GPU acceleration

Thanks a lot Edward. Exactly what I needed.

I understood Gstreamer is a framework. Do you think it is possible to embed
the gst-plugins-bad to build my application and take advantage of its
possibilities (GPU acceleration for decoding and rendering operations...) OR
do I have to build the app from the Gstreamer framework?

Is there a documentation for this plugin? It seems that it is part of the
reason why it is referenced as bad.... isn't it?
