sine wave signal for 15 seconds

It depends on other factors even, like sampling frequency.

To confirm  your data you can run

audiotestsrc num-buffers=150 ! fakesink -v

and observe the last timestamp. by seeing this timestamp you can calculate
the num-buffers to adjust to 15 seconds.
