Use downstream buffers

Hi All,

I want to use downstream buffer in my app.

I mean, i want save on the copy efforts at my sink element. I want the
decoder to write data into the buffer which is provided by my sink, not the
buffer allocated by decoder. This will save me a copy operation from decoder
buffer to sink buffer.

Is such a mechanism available in GStreamer? If yes can you please point me
to a example or function thru which such happens?
