Thanks for the reply. I added those patches to my build and I am still in the same place (error: " could not receive message" on the rtspsrc when I try to connect) I also had to make some changes to the includes in both rtsp-client.c and rtsp-server.c just to get it to build. (winsock2.h and ws2tcpip.h) did you have to make any other changes to get it to build?
